Framing has started and Roof Trusses set

The new meeting hall building is being framed and the roof trusses are being set. 

Soon we will be roofing and the building will be water tight. Let's keep praying for good weather!

Preparing for the foundation

This past week the foundation was poured in preparation of the new building. We had the honor of having Father Jeremy Leatherby bless the job site and place blessed medals in the foundation around the perimeter of the new building.  A medal of  the Virgin Mother Mary was placed at the entrance of the building.  A perfect  and well thought out process by Father Jeremy.

As you can notice, the site has been cleared and the soil has been moved around.  The ground has been prepared, marked and staked out. The forms have been set into place. The rough plumbing has begun and soon we will be ready to pour the slab.
